The objective

Atol is a French optician chain with over 800 stores in France. The brand is ranked fourth in the French optical market. Present for more than 50 years on the market and after having tested many traditional advertising media, the famous brand decided to launch on the new social network TikTok to set up performance-based campaigns.

The objective of this strategy is to rejuvenate the brand and reach a new target audience through creative videos focused on education and humor, which is totally different from the tones adopted in more traditional media. In the first campaign with Sleeq, the campaigns were launched with the objective of awareness and reach on the TikTok platform.

The solution

This campaign in the In-feed Ads format was a success, thanks in particular to the realization of 6 creatives optimized to capture the attention of the target with a humorous tone. We designed a concept highlighting different funny situations that people with vision problems may encounter. All videos were produced in TikTok format, in order to obtain the most native and spontaneous rendering possible.

Results

The Atol campaign was very successful in reaching its goal. From the very first weeks the campaign performed very well and the client was satisfied with the results.

We generated over 32 million views on the platform, with lower CPMs and CPCs than the market.

After this first step on TikTok, we were able to conclude that there was indeed a target to be reached on the application and that it was possible to achieve results potentially superior to those of Meta.
